Daily Devotions

Ps 118:23-24 This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

“Pap, what are we going to do tomorrow?” That is a question asked often around our house at this time with out grandson with us, he always wants to know what we are going to do tomorrow. Often I will share what I think tomorrow will hold, the places I need to go, the people I will see, what I have to get done. One thing I can tell him is that Jesus has something for us each and everyday, that tomorrow belongs to the Lord. I never know for sure what a day will hold, from the time I am writing this to the close of the day my life could change completely, I never know what a day will hold. One thing I do know, “This is a day which the Lord hath made”. Nothing will happen today that He is not aware of, nothing will happen that He can’t give victory over, nothing will happen today without the Lord in it. This may be a very joyous day, or it could be a day of hardship, either way it is a day made by God and my God will be in it with me. Even this day belongs to Jesus Christ.
