6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

What does a willful ignorance of the Word of God lead to? The sure judgment of God. Nations have fallen, lives have been destroyed, families broken up, and many have died because people choose to be ignorant of the Word of God, a willful ignorance. Adam and Eve learned this, Pharaoh in Egypt learned this, Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon learned this, the many world powers that have fallen learned this, Judas learned this, Pilate and Herod learned this, and how many more we could name in the Bible as well as secular history. Our nation is learning it today, a willful ignorance of the Word of God brings the sure judgment of God. Our politicians try and paint this picture of a bright future for our nation, all the while our national debt continues to climb to the point that our economy may collapse at any moment, the third world nations of the world shake their fingers at us and defy our military power, which by the way is at its lowest since WWII, our streets are not safe, there is a widening racial divide with riots in every corner of America. The answer for government is to murder more babies, allow sodomite marriages, and take away the guns from lay abiding citizens. What is the problem with America? A willful ignorance of the Word of God. Don’t allow that to be a problem in your life, God’s Word is set before us to obey and follow. Anything short of that will bring the sure judgment of God.
