Love is also show by actions. Valentine’s Day is one Sunday and I can get my wife a nice card and write down how much I love and appreciate her and I am sure she will like that. But those will be just words on a page, meaningless unless they are backed up by actions. Do I show her day by day that I love her by what I do for her? Is my love known by my actions. A wise old gentleman who is now with the Lord used to say “I love you” were just words coming out of a mouth. When love comes from the heart it is backed up, it is shown by actions, by our deeds. I can tell how much one loves their spouse by what they do for them. We can also tell how much one loves Jesus by what they do for Him.
