How much is God able to do, and how much does God do that we never know or even think about? I was reading this passage the other day and got to thinking of all the miracles we ask God to do each and everyday. Some people think the age of miracles has past, but has it? Yesterday our daughter and her family drove about 600 miles, I drove myself about 150 visiting people. My wife was out and about, my son off to work. Yet last evening we all sat around the supper table safe and sound and God did that for us. I prayed for families yesterday as they sat in hospitals rooms watching loved ones passing from this world and a comfort and peace filled the room. God did that for them. There are miracles taking place each day and if we don’t see them it is because we don’t look or don’t ask for them. Our God is a powerful God, a loving God and one willing to do so much more than we are even able to think of if we trust in him and follow Him. Take some time today and in the days to come and count the miracles that are taking place around you and then give God thanks for them.
