Ps 139:14-18 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
KJV
All week we have looked at reasons people are not thankful, today something to give thanks for. I can not tell you what you have to be thankful for, but I can tell you there is much. How do I know that? Read the above verses again and meditate upon them for a while. God has precious thoughts towards you, towards me. That alone is enough to spend the next year being thankful for. So precious are those thought He sent Jesus Christ to die for you. So precious are those thought that they carried Christ all the way to the cross. Those thoughts opened the tomb and made a way to heaven for you. Those are precious thought. Those precious thoughts also give strength for the day, guidance for the future, provision, protection and on and on we can go. If you think you have nothing to be thankful for today just read the 139th Psalm.
