1 Tim 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
KJV
Today we all have something to be thankful for, thankful for those who have served and given their lives for our freedom in these United States of America, today is Veterans Day.
Beginning with the War of Independence and continuing down through the years many have fought and died to gain and preserve freedom for America, thank God for them today. We also give thanks, or we should for those who stand and fight for Jesus Christ. The Bible likens the Christian to a soldier many times and it is God that does that not man. Be thankful for those who contend for the truth, who preach the truth, and for those who obey the truth. On Veterans Day every American and every Christian has something to be thankful for.
