November 3rd, 2015 by Pastor SolleyRev 8:1-4 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

How important is prayer to God, how important are your prayers to God? Many times people will say something to us, tell us something that may or may not be important and we tend to forget what they say. Those words “I forgot what you said” are ones we use and hear all too often. But our God never forgets what we say in prayer, those words are kept, they are remembered. Why? Because prayer is important to God, God wants to hear from you and me this morning, all through this day, and this evening before we close our eyes. Those words, no matter how important they seem to us or others are important to God, He remembers them, He keeps them, and they are offered up to Him in heaven. That is an amazing thought to me, that God wants to hear from me and remembers what I say. Shouldn’t that make us want to pray, to desire to pray, even to rush to prayer? But does it?
