24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

It is never promised in the Bible that the believer in Christ will have an easy pathway through life. Even though one knows Christ as savior they still must live in this world with all its trials and troubles, all the doubts and fears, all the problems big and small, we are not taken out of the world at salvation, we still must live by the rules down here. But we have a promise, strong and sure, that even though we may be cast down that He will hold us up in His capable hands. David looking at his life could say that he had been young and now he was old, that he had never been forsaken by the Lord. Young person carry that promise with you as those of us who are older can state that same truth that David stated by experience. Yes the Bible is true and we know that PS 37:25 is true because it is in the Bible, but some of us are living it by experience as well. I have like David been young, now I am older and He has never forsaken me, has always and always will take care of His own.
