August 3rd, 2015 by Pastor SolleyEx 14:19-20 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:
20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.
Our week of camp begins this week and I ask for those who are believers in Christ to pray for us this week. We have some troubled kids coming this year and while those are the kids who need camp the most they are also the kids that Satan can use the most to disrupt things, so we need your prayers. Pray that the “Angel of God” would go before and behind us giving protection and placing an hedge about us even as He did for Israel. Pray that the campers would receive the light of the gospel of Christ, that young people would be saved and decisions for living for and serving Christ would be made and kept. Above all, pray for us this week. I will be giving updates on the devotion page each day concerning our camp week. I could not post last week because we were in NC for a few days visiting family.
