How is it that a child is left to himself? Most parents would say that does not apply to them today. They have their children in baseball, football, wrestling, cheerleading, softball, anything and everything all the time. They are always on the run going to practices, games, programs and the like. It seems they have time for everything except church and the Lord. Many had said as they have been invited to VBS, “We are so busy, I don’t know if we can make it”. That is the attitude about spiritual things and our families and society today is a reflection of that. Why do so many leave their children to themselves and not bring them to the Lord? That five year old did not decide on his own he wanted to go out for wrestling, the parent took them there. Why not take them to the Lord?
