Prov 29:1-3 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.

How long will America continue to mourn? With the wicked in high places in our nation we do find ourselves in a state of mourning. Our nation is divided over many things and violence is now ruling the land and all one needs do is watch the news to see that being played out in the cities and even the small towns of America. Proverbs 29:2 is true on both the national and local levels of America. But, did you know that is true in our homes, families and individual lives as well? “When the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn”. One cannot place blame for ruined lives on the government. One cannot blame the government for a lack of the blessings of God upon our homes. That rests upon us as individuals. For a home to blessed, for a family to be blessed, for a good life, one needs to place themselves under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ. Any other authority in the home or in our lives means that the wicked are bearing rule. Who rules your home? There could be a reason there is much mourning within those walls.
