Ps 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

To whom do you turn when you have a burden? There are those in this world that we can trust and turn to, a Godly and loving spouse, Godly parents or grandparents, pastors and the like. They are there for us to turn to when we have a burden. Others turn to foolish people and places, to friends who do not know the Lord, some to alcohol, others to doctors and so on. But the truth is that there is none greater to turn to than Jesus. Yet He is often the last instead of the first one we bring our burden to. That should not be and especially for a Christian. Whatever your burden today, take it to Jesus first and take it to Him often. “He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved”. But we need to take our burden to Him.
