Ps 116:14-16 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Pray for one of our church members today as they lost their father this morning. As we go through losses in this world one thing we need remember is that what hurts us so much makes the heat of God rejoice as well as the one who died knowing the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal savior. Her father was a saved man, had repented of sin and asked Jesus Christ to forgive and save him, that makes this a precious day. That one has been loosed from the bonds of pain, sickness, sorrow and all the other things that we will one day leave behind in this world. The pain of separation is not a good one, but the joy of the Lord, the joy of knowing that for the redeemed there is a better place to be more than makes up for it.
