January 9th, 2015 by Pastor SolleyProve 5:1-2 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.
All week we have looked at the benefits that come when one walks in discretion and the sorrows when one does not. Now we have decisions to make, do we walk in discretion before God and man or do we play the part of a fool? Today you and I have decisions to make in how we will conduct ourselves. Will we stop and think before we act, will we pray before we make decisions, will we act with discretion? Or do we just jump into things without thought, do we act apart from the will of God, do we do our own thing? What will guide your actions today, your thoughts today? If we want the blessings of God upon our families and in our lives we will stop, think, and act with discretion.
