July 4th, 2014 by Pastor SolleyJohn 8:32-36 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Of all the freedoms you thank God for today on this 4th of July, thank Him first, thank Him most, and thank Him always for the freedoms we can have in Jesus Christ. Thank Him that He gave His Son to die on the cross, to shed His blood for your sin, to rise again and offer salvation freely to all. Thank Him today for His mercy and His grace, for His free offer of pardon for sin. Thank Him that you repented and called on Jesus Christ to save your soul, thank Him today for true freedom.
