June 12th, 2014 by Pastor SolleyMatt 19:13-15 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
We are having our summer vacation Bible school this week and I wanted to pass on a report. There is an average of 40 young people coming out with four classes, the first from age two to kindergarten, the last our teen class, with about 10 students per class. No one has trusted Christ as their savior to this point so we pray today may be the day that some young people come to Him in repentance of sin for salvation. We don’t practice the easy believes so we want them to know and understand their need for a savior and the need to turn from sin. I do know the gospel is being planted in these young hearts and we pray over them. Thank you all for your prayers over the final two days of our VBS.
