Sorry this is late today, having some PC problems.

Ps 139:17-18 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

How precious are the thoughts of God to the child of God? It is an interesting question in that not all who claim the name of Christ choose to walk with or dwell with Christ. For that one who knows Christ as savior and is walking in communion with Him His thoughts are truly precious. That one knows that the Lord knows the beginning from the end, holds them tightly in His hand, and even in the storms of life is protecting and guiding the. That is a precious truth my friend, that Christ is with us in the midst of the storm, that He guides us, protects us, leaves nothing touch us that He cannot carry us through. Precious thoughts. But to that unsteady one, that one who doubts the goodness and greatness of the Lord, those same thoughts are not so precious. Why is God doing this, why does God allow this, why me, these are the questions they ask. To that one they feel forsaken and forgotten; to that one there is little that is precious about the thoughts of God to them. What makes the difference in a person? Read the 139 Psalm from beginning to end and meditate upon the thoughts of God toward you dear friend. David went through much in his life, so do we all, but David knew he went through nothing alone, that his God was always with him, that his God went ever before him. Nothing has changed; the thoughts of God are precious to you and me.
