Job 13:15-16
15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him : but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him.The testimony of Job is one most Christians know, yet few follow. I wonder at the faith of Job in his trials. How he sinned not with his lips, how he stayed faithful to God. He must have spent long hours in prayer, long hours on his knees, long hours seeking help and deliverance. And Jod siad “though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.”
Christian are you trusting in the Lord today? Are you spending time with Him in prayer? Are you reading His Word, feeding on the bread of life? Or will you give Him a few passing moments if you can spare them? Are you maintaining your ways before God? If not there will be a worldliness, a restlessness come upon you. You will drift away from God untill you feel as if you are all alone. Flee back to the God of your salvation if that be the case. Flee back to the one you can trust in today.
