What is your attitude toward children, the “Little ones”? That phrase “Forbid them not” is found three times in the New Testament, all of them above, and each time it has to do with bringing children to the Lord. Did you know that children love to be brought to Jesus? They love to go to church and Sunday School, they love to go to VBS, to activities the church is having, they love to be brought into the presence of the Lord. Yet how few today have parents that care enough about them to bring them to Jesus. It breaks my heart to think of the many children I know of, children of people I watched grow up in churches who are not brought to church, not brought to the Lord. Others have parents that come after Sunday School, stay for one service and are gone. They are taking Jesus away from their children, robbing them of someone they long to know. We need to be praying today, praying for the little ones, but more important praying for their parents and even grandparents, that they bring them to Christ. I recently had a grandparent ask me to pray for their grandchildren, that they be found in church. All the while that person cares so little about them in this matter that they attend only one service a week. The example they are setting go a long way in keeping the little ones out as well. Why do parents want their children to suffer not being able to know Jesus?
