Jude 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.
Are you sure that which you have invested in will pay off? I know people who will not purchase insurance because it is a bad investment. The insurance adjuster was at our home yesterday and looked at the damage caused by the recent fire. Our bedroom which had smoke damage and some of the floor taken up will be repaired. New carpet throughout, new drywall, new ceiling, new paint. The chimney will be torn down and a new one laid up with a new liner and fireproof backing. The closet will get new drywall, paint, and a ceiling as well as new carpet. The siding that had to be removed outside will be repaired and replaced. All these years of paying for insurance is going to pay off.
What about your spiritual insurance, what or who have you invested in? Is the church you attend going to meet God’s standard of holiness, will your good works appease God, will your good intentions and all your effort to get to heaven pay off int eh end? Have you made a good investment? Only Jesus can be invested in with your faith, with your heart, with your soul and pay off in the end. He, Jesus, is the one who is able to save, and He is the one who is able to keep all who place their faith and trust in Him. Anythng or anyone else is a very poor investment.
