Phil 2:1-8 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Do you ever think about the mind of Jesus? I often think of the strife and divisions that come upon a church and between believers and what Jesus must think of that. How much is done in lowliness of mind today, how much is done with others in mind and not self? How many can say that all are of one mind? People want to be served today and not to serve, what to be known for everything that they do. There is not much today that points to the mind of Christ. I wonder if that is part of the reason that many are so easily shaken in mind today? There are many troubled minds today and the solution is more and more medication to clam and steady the mind. What we need rather than all of that is to look to the Word of God, look to Jesus, follow the command of the Bible, and take on the mind of Christ. To look to others and not self, to look to be serve and not to be served, to give God the glory and not self. How much more at ease would be the mind of man if it were more given to the mind of Christ?
