As the Lord allows I would like to consider a “Testimony” this week. By that I mean what we are known as by our actions and our words. Everyone has a testimony, some good and others not so good, but we all have a testimony. If you hear the name George Washington for example, you might think of the story of the cherry tree and him never telling a lie as the story goes. He had the testimony of being an honest man. Everyone has a testimony. In our text passage we see that Enoch was known for his walk with God, his testimony was that he pleased God. So today I would ask you to take time to consider your testimony, what others know you as. What do people think of first when they hear your name or see you, what is your testimony? If I hear the name David I think of a man who had a heart for God. If I hear the name Paul I think of a man who had a heart to serve. If I hear the name John I think of a man who loved Jesus. What is your testimony today, what do others think of first when they hear your name?
