Rom 1:17-19 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

If the wrath of God is revealed to all men, and that is what the Bible tells us in verse 18, then isn’t it reasonable that the mercy and grace of God would be revealed to all as well? The Apostle Paul was ready to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all because all need that gospel and because all can receive that gospel. We saw one leave this world from our church yesterday as well as from my family. I have many thought as I think of that one, thoughts from my youth and family gatherings, thoughts from teen years and things he did for me, thoughts as a young man with a wife and children and how he did things for us. But the thought that I carry the most today is the truth of the gospel. There was a time in his life that he called upon the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sin and salvation. There was a time when the wrath of God was revealed to Him by the Holy Spirit, a time when the mercy, love, and grace was revealed to him by the Holy Spirit, a time when he was born again. How did it take place? By him placing his faith and trust in Jesus Christ just as all of us can do. Praise God for the truth He reveals to all men.
