September 26th, 2012 by Pastor SolleyPhilem 1Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
Philem 9 Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
Paul was a prisoner of Jesus Christ. Another thing about a prisoner is that he or she is always being watched. Every waking hour, every sleeping moment, day and night, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a prisoner is always being watched. Christians are always under watch, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Christians are always being watched. The devil watches us, ready to accuse us before God. The world watches us, ready to accuse us before man. The Holy Spirit watches us, guiding us in the direction we ought to go and convicting us when we do not follow His leading. The Father watches us knowing how many hairs we have on our head. Jesus watches us, making intercessions for us in heaven. The Christian is always being watched. In order of how they were given this morning, let us give the devil nothing to accuse us of, let men see Jesus in us, follow the leading of the Spirit, make the heart of the Father rejoice, and please the Lord Jesus Christ as He prays for us. The Christian is always being watched.
