September 17th, 2012 by Pastor SolleyEph 2:5-9 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Who can limit the grace of God? The Bible tell us “All have sinned”, and that Jesus Christ died for sinners. If all have sinned and He died for sinners then He died for all. Yet some would try and limit the grace of God by saying that not all can be saved. Have some sinned more than others? Is it our actions that condemn, or is it our nature? If it is our nature and not our actions then all are the same before God, sinners bound for hell. Yet Jesus Christ paid the price for all that all might be saved. Never allow someone to limit the grace of God for His grace is above measure and His grace touches all. That is not to say all are saved or all will be. Man has a choice to make, to repent of sin and turn to God and in faith receive Jesus Christ and His free pardon of sin or to remain in darkness and refuse Jesus Christ. If one tries to limit the grace of God they can never be sure if God has saved any. The Bible places no limits on the grace of God so be sure we do not.
