September 6th, 2012 by Pastor SolleyGen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
These are the first and last uses of the word “All” in the Bible. We can see clearly what God means when He uses the word all. Man was to have dominion over all the earth, not most, not part, but all. We also find that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ is for all, not most, not some, but all. What if man would not have exercised his dominion over all the earth? It would have been because man chose not to do so, not because God did not want him to or because God prevented him from doing so. The same applies to man not coming to a saving knowledge of Christ. The Bible tells us that by grace we are saved, but if man chooses not to come to Christ, not to repent of sin, not to walk in that grace that God has for all then the fault is not with God. It is not because God does not want him or because God will not allow him to be saved but because man chooses not to come to Christ. The word “All” is a very little one in the Bible but very big in importance.
