What is it today that you want to come to pass? The Bible tells us that if we “Delight thyself also in the Lord” that He will give us the “Desires of thine heart”. What is it that you want to come to pass? The key is seeing that thing or things come to pass is found in committing them unto the Lord. Can you commit that thing unto the Lord. In other words does it agree with Scripture, is it going to be used for the glory of God, and are we taking delight in the Lord? So many Christians complain about not having prayers answered and all the while they are walking apart from the Lord and have little desire to serve or trust Him. Before we begin to wonder why God doesn’t answer prayer as we think He should we need to take a look within. Can we and have we truly given the matter over to Him? We cannot commit something to Him that will not be for Him. We cannot commit something to Him that is not in agreement with his Word. The reason we may not receive the “Desires of thine heart” may be because our heart is not with Him.
