Gen 18:17-19
17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

I often wonder what God knows about me as a father and what He would put down in words. Then I remember that everything is being written down and will be made known one day when the books are opened at the judgment seat of Christ. It is a sobering thought and one we should all place before us. Father or not God knows all about you and all is being written down. What did God write down about my day yesterday? What of today and tomorrow? What will be revealed when the books are opened in heaven? But back to being a father for a moment. What did my children see in me while they were growing up? Was it a Christian sold out to God or one given to the world? Was it a man who talked it on Sunday and forget it on Monday? How did I command my household? Did I teach them to walk in the justice of God and to fear the Lord? What way were they given to keep? Time tells all of these things and one day they will be revealed. What will be made known of you?
