Daily Devotions

Acts 13:1-3 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. 3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

We finished our two day Bible Truth Institute conference last evening with a graduation ceremony for William Narehood. It was a wonderful two days with messages following the theme “Ready for His Return”. What a blessing to see another young man graduate from the institute. BTI ministries began in 1972 when Pastor and Evangelist Thomas Baker founded it and the school today continues in the principals and patterns that President Baker left us. The next generation is now stepping up and moving on for the Lord. All the speakers at the conference were BTI grads or men about to be. On Monday it was the older men who spoke and on Tuesday it was the next generation of BTI grads. What started in 72 continues all these years later and it must please God to see what the vision and faith in one so long ago has produced. Thanks all for the blessing of another conference and we pray that we will meet in heaven or here at Cherry Corner next May.
