Philippians 4:4-7 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

So many need the peace of God to rule in their hearts today. I have never seen a time when so many people seem so distressed and worried over so many things. A time when so many people seem so empty and lost. This world does not have the answers we need my friend yet that is the place people continue to look. God is at hand but few will turn to Him in their hour of need. Perhaps it is because they do not see Christ in the Christian as they need to see Him. Are you rejoicing in the Lord today? Are you walking in the peace of God today? One reason the lost can’t see Christ is because the light of many a Christian is hidden. Many a Christian is just as consumed by worry as the world is. Many a Christian is just as restless and lacks peace, just like the world. If we are not turning to Him in our hour of need why would the lost? Stop and thank God for what He has done for you today. Take time to turn all your needs over to Him and His tender care. Seek the peace of God that comes with surrender to Him today. Give the lost something to look at today and something to seek after.
