Luke 18:16-18
16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
We start our VBS this morning. What a wonderful blessing to see all the children come out to VBS, the excitement and joy on their faces to be in the house of God. I wonder when and why so many people lose that joy and excitement. I see people all the time when I am preaching with such indifferent looks on their faces, no joy, coming to the services late, leaving as soon as they can, ignoring the house of God. What happened to the child like joy that they once had. It is so refreshing to see some who are excited about the Lord and the things of the Lord. Get back to that child like faith, back to that child like joy in the Lord.
