How easily some are beguiled with enticing words. I wonder at times how those who twist and turn the Bible to meet their own ideas and agenda are able to gain a following, but they are. Some take the most understandable passages of the Bible and give them a different interpretation and people believe them. Look at the fool that is still setting dates for the rapture and the end of the world. Mark 13:32 makes it very clear that no man knows the day or the hour of the return of Jesus Christ. “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” Yet how many believed and continue to believe that false teacher. We need to stand on the Bible and the Bible alone. No clearer verse in the Bible telling us who Jesus died for and who can be saved than John 3:16. Yet some still hold true to the tradition of men that not all can come to repentance. What does the Bible say about something? Be aware of those who beguile with enticing words.
