Mark 13:32-33 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
These verses speak of the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and to the fact that no man knows or will know the day of His return. Much has been made lately of the false teacher who fooled many people with the May 21st date of Judgment Day as he called it. Friend, we will see more and more of this as the world goes on, false teachers who claim to have Biblical insight leading people astray. Here is a simple rule to follow in Bible interpretation, when the Bible makes plane sense, take the plane sense of the Bible. Hard to misinterpret the above verses isn’t it? Then take the plane sense of the Bible. Do it in other areas as well. For example it is hard to miss the love of God for all the world. John 3:16 is very clear It is hard to miss man’s need for salvation. Rom 3:23 is very clear. Look these verses up and you will see the plane sense of Scripture. When the Bible makes place sense, take the plane sense of the Bible.
