Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
The fool that proclaimed May 21, 2011 as judgment day is described by this verse. But he is not alone. Have you ever noticed how many intelligent people are fooled by false doctrine and go astray? When an individual begins to see himself as wise then be sure they are on the way to proving themselves to be a fool. The Bible is so clear that a little child can understand it, so deep that all if its treasures can never be mined. For example the simple truth of salvation is that Jesus died for all so all can be saved. The Bible tells us that “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Very simple, so simple that only an intelligent person in their own eyes can miss that truth. But salvation is so deep that one will never really know all that was involved, all that took place the moment a lost sinner called out to Jesus Christ until we get to heaven and stand with our Lord. Don’t be a fool, just simply read and believe the Bible.
