Mark 16:15-20And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. 20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

The power of God on and in a person’s life can be seen in many ways. In the lives of the Apostles that power was seen in the casting out of devils, speaking in tongues, even the taking up of serpent (Paul when he was ship wrecked.) laying on of hands for special healing and so on. Some of these things I believe have passed fro the scene today so I do not advise trying to follow what was for the early church before the Bible was complete. But what of today; is that power seen and in what ways today? That power of God is seen as Satan is defeated in the life of a Christian day by day. It is seen as we speak in a new way, speech always seasoned with salt. It is seen as we separate from the deadly sins of the flesh and the world. It is seen as we share the life saving gospel message with a sin sick and dying world. It is seen as we go everywhere preaching the Word of God. An it is seen in a new life lived for Jesus Christ. Yes the power of God is still seen today.
