Daily Devotion

Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The power of God rests in the preaching of the gospel, in walking with the Lord and in serving the Lord day by day. There are many professing Christians I fear who have never felt the power of God on and in their lives. The reason lies often in their lack of service and commitment t the Lord. We don’t need the power of God to be worldly. We don’t need the power of God to watch the TV, be on facebook, text message, play video games and so on. We don’t need the power of God to be worldly. And that is exactly why few feel the power of God in their lives. But we do need the power f God to “Go ye” for Jesus. We do need the power of God to witness for Christ, to live a separated life, to serve Him daily, for that we do need the power of God. If you lack the power of God in your life could it possibly be due to a lack of service and commitment to Him? Ge busy for Christ and you will be sure to feel the power of God.
