Eph 1:1-5 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Isn’t it wonderful to be part of the chosen of God? (Verse 4) To know that God loved me(Us) so much that He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. But don’t get carried away with this thought. Who exactly is it that God has chosen? Is it a few or is it all? The key words here are Christ and love. None could be in Christ if Christ were not sent into the world and for whom was Christ sent into the world? Read John 3:16. None could be in Christ if they were not loved by God and Christ. Who is it that God loves, that Christ loves? Read John 3:16. Yes I am loved and chosen, you are as well, and we are in Christ by the new birth. John 3:7 But we are not part of a chosen few. We are in Christ, we are born again because we decided to yield tot he convicting power of the Holy Spirit and we called on the name of the Lord in faith for forgiveness of sin and salvation. This does not take away from the of God, the mercy of God, or the grace of God. This only adds to it. Praise God He sent His Son into the world to die for the whole world, praise God Jesus Christ has the power to save all.
