Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
KJV
Have you ever asked the Lord “What wilt thou have me to do?” Most of us have no problem asking our Lord to so for us and we are encouraged to do just that. (Jer 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. ; Phil 4:6
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. ; 1 Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing.) I will ask many tingns of my Lord and Savior today. But how many times will I ask my Lord “What wilt thou have me to do?” Most apply that question to what we call life changing decision but most of us will make many decisions each week and even daily that impact our lives and those around us. But how many or how few times do you ask “What wilt thou have me to do?” When we never seek His will, His guidance, and His wisdom in the things we do should we wonder then why so many things tend to go wrong in our lives? Why not today bring our Lord into every decision we make and obey His Word in all that we do? Paul immediately found out what he should do and not only that, Paul obeyed.
