Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
KJV
Interceding to intercede. That is what the Bible says in the book of Romans. (Rom 8:26-27
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.) How many times have we bowed our heads in prayer and because of great sorrow, distress, discouragement, worry, doubt and fear of what lies ahead have not been able to find the words to pray? What to do at those times? As we come befoe the throne of grace in those most difficult times there is one who takes up the mantle of prayer for us, makes intercession with “groanings which cannot be uttered.” So thankful today for prayer and equally thankful that one prays for me when prayer seems so very difficult. What a blessing it is to sit quietly before our dear Lord and know that intercession is at those very times being made and that from the very Spirit of God to the Son of God in the presence of the Father.
