Exodus 33:18-23
And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. 21 And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: 22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: 23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Moses had a desire to see the glory of God. This humble man had been trough much to this point and there was much to come. He was in need of encouragement and there would be no greater encouragement than to know that God was walking with Him. What a wonderful truth is given to the child of God in need of encouragement today in verse 21. “There is a pace by me.” Do you need to see the glory of God today? Then stand by Him. Pick up your Bible and spend time with God allowing Him to speak to you. Lift up your heart to Him in prayer. Be involved in a good Bible believing church where you are convicted by the preaching of the Word of God. Get lose to God and you will see His glory just as Moses did. But we do need to stand by Him.
