Matt 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Mark 13:35-37 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
KJV
We are surrounded in this wold bywarning signs such as “Sharp curve ahead” or “Truck crossing” or “Construction ahead” and so on. Yesterday while driving on some major highways my GPS would sound out “Police spotted ahead” as a warning to obey the traffic laws. Most people pay attention to those type of warning signs and then ignore the more important warning signs, the ones given in the Word of God. People seem to live today as if there will be no tomorrow, no death, no judgment, but the Bible warns of all of those over and over and over again. There is a day of death coming for all and then a day of judgment that follows. (Heb 9:27
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:) That is the warning and for those who heed that warning there is a way to escape eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire. (Heb 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. ; John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. ; Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.) It is wise to obey and then follow warning signs.
