Luke 24:30-32 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

One needs a fire burning in our part of the world today, the temp is 1 above zero and my phone says it feels like 12 below zero. There is a fire burning in our furnace today, one that will keep our house warm. But there is another warmth that is much more important and that is the spiritual warmth that we get from spending time with Jesus. Are you planning on talking with Jesus today? That will bring your warmth. Are you planning on walking with Jesus today? That will bring you warmth. Are you planning to allow Jesus to talk with you by spending time in His Word? That will bring you warmth. I am very thankful this cold, cold morning for the fire burning in our furnace and even more thankful for the warmth received from spending time with Jesus. Let Jesus warm you within today.
