Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

“His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,” He is the Everlasting Father. Nothing in this world is without change, noting in this world is without end. Food comes with an expiration date, appliances are made to last for only a few short years, cars break down, homes get older, and even we come into this world with an expiration date. (Ps 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away. ; Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:) We do not know the date, but we do have an appointed time. Everything in this world has an expiration date. But there is something provided by the Son that was given that will never, never, never end and that is eternal salvation. He is my Everlasting Father and that will never change. I repented of sin and received Jesus Christ as my personal savior fifty seven years ago this coming week and it is just as fresh and new as if it took place yesterday. New life in Christ never gets old, never runs out and will never expire for He is my Everlasting Father. Praise Him today, tomorrow, and for all eternity for life that will never end for those who have placed faith and trust in Jesus alone. If you have never trusted Jesus trust Him today, turn from sin and to Him today and you will receive a gift that will last forever and ever.
