Deut 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
Ps 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
1 Thess 5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
KJV
Very few things in this life remain constant, never change. During the holiday season my mind seems to always go back to my youth and the huge Thanksgiving dinners with so many around the table, to the Christmas Eve time in church and then in the home of my parents and even as both my sister and I married and had children of our own that did not change. Now those are precious memories and most of the faces that I picture in my mind are now in heaven with their Savior and that a good, good thing. But there has been a change. One though has never changed and His faithfulness is brought out in our verses this morning. One from the beginning of the Bible, one from the middle, and one from the end of the Bible. Are you looking for one who will never change today? Then you must in faith look to Jesus for He never changes. His love never changes, His mercy never changes, His grace never changes for what He has promised He is faithful to do. I like to think of the one that never changes in this changing world.
