1 Tim 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
KJV
Preached unto the Gentiles is also a part of this mystery of godliness and one we should be very thankful for today. There has only been one plan of salvation both Old and New Testaments.
(Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. ; Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. ; John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.) Before the cross those who would repent and look in faith to God for salvation looked toward the cross and the blood. Today those who would repent and look in faith to God for salvation look back at the cross and the blood. Only one plan of salvation. While the Savior did come through Israel, the promised Messiah, God with us, He is preached to all and offered to all. The gospel message is for all to hear, believe, and receive. Who can be saved? ALL can be saved. Have you believed the preaching, have you received Jesus as your Savior? The gospel is for all because all need to be saved.
