Rev 7:11-12 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
KJV
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday and I pray it always will be for there are so many things to give thanks for. Precious are the memories I have of Thanksgiving Day when I was a boy in our home. Mom and dad, sister, pap and gram, aunts and uncles, cousins, that grand meal, family at Thanksgiving. Most of them are in heaven now and it makes the memories that much more precious because of the above verses and the precious blood of Jesus who gave His life on the cross so all could be saved. Our God is certainly worthy of blessing and glory and thanksgiving today, this Thursday and always. It was a Christian home I was brought up in, parents, grandparents, sister, aunts and uncles, cousins, that had the testimony of knowing Jesus as their Savior and that made and makes a wonderful Thanksgiving. Can you give thanks for salvation in Christ this morning? Are you born again? If so you have something to be thankful for today and always.
