Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
KJV
It is very easy to get caught up in things that simply do not matter and so the Bible tells us to avoid them, they lead only to an empty end. A preacher from the past once said “Our days are few, and are far better spent in doing good, than in disputing over matters which are, at best, of minor importance.” Who really started WWI and why? Was our President at the time made aware of the attack on Pearl Harbor? So many questions that people are concerned about that matter not at all concerning the will of God for our lives and what we are to be doing for our Lord and Savior today. The world and governments are corrupt, many in leadership serve the gods of power and wealth and will do anything and everything to advance themselves. But even if all the questions man might have concerning the world and world events are answered they still keep us away from what is really important. Are you born again? Are you then doing what God wants you to do? Are you serving the Lord? Are you seeking out the will of God in your life today? What are you doing to bring lost souls to Jesus Christ? Those are far more important questions that we all must give an answer to one day.
