19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

The Bible is at times very specific in whom it is addressing and makes sure that is known. In John 3:7 when addressing one man, Nicodemus, Jesus said “Ye must be born again. “Ye” is plural, more than one, many. Did Jesus not know He was talking to one man? Jesus knew one was standing in front of Him but said “Ye must be born again” because all people must be born again if they want sin forgiven and eternal life. In 1 Peter 1:20 the Bible states that Jesus came, was made know for “You.” That is singular. There is no contradiction here, all must be born again and Jesus suffered on the cross for all. But now on a personal level I see that Jesus did it all just for me, just for you. The precious blood of Jesus, the one who knew no sin became sin for you so you could join all who have been born again. “Ye must be born again” and Jesus came and has been made known or manifest so “You” could be born again. What a wonderful Savior is He.
