Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
KJV
To call me old fashioned is an understatement. I still read my Bible as I hold it in my hand, I still listen to CD and even some cassette tapes of the hymns of the faith, I still send in monthly bills with a check inside, I still check the tire pressure of my car with a tire gage, I still check the oil every few weeks between changes. I am old fashioned. With that said some understand what White Out is used for when making a mistake when writing or typing. It covers and blots out what was once there so it can be replaced. That is what happens when one puts faith and trust in Jesus and His finished work on the cross. The sin that was so visible is blotted out and replaced, His shed blood washes our sin away and it then it is replaced with the righteousness of Christ. Now a new and better way can be written down on our account, Jesus not only covered but took sin away. I thank my Savior today for the White Out that paid the price for my sin and took that sin away.
