Eph 5:16-17 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Col 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

We find in the above verses that we are to be found redeeming the time or making wise use of our time and not to be found wasting time. I get confused each time the clocks are moved forward or turned back, each time we move from standard to daylight saving or daylight saving to standard. In the spring did the day become twenty five hours long until fall and now back to twenty four? Or is it the other way? What I do know is that time we have been given to serve the Lord, to walk in the will of God, and to show others Christ is not to be wasted because it can never be bought back. We did not lose or gain an hour at 2:00AM Sunday morning, we have always had the same amount of time, but are we using that time wisely to serve and walk in the will of God?
